Just thought I'll summarise the 2 wedding shows we've attended in September this year. One of which was my dream hotel, Mandarin Oriental (MO) and the other is my current choice Grand Corpthorne Waterfront (GCW).
For GCW, here's why I like the place..
- Ballrooms which fits my table requirement - Riverfront Ballroom - for 17-20 tables or Galleria Ballroom - for 10-16 tables
- Nice outdoor venue for solemnisation - Pavilion by the Singapore River
- Pricing quite reasonable
Downside of GCW..
- Location not so convenient
- No fixed wedding themes - hotel is using dated decorations
- The smaller ballrooms seems to have a rather short march-in, hopefully can arrange to have the stage shifted to another side where I can have a longer march-in
For MO, their atrium suite is rectangular shape and this enables me to have a longer march-in. However their rates is one of the highest among the hotels I'm shortlisting. Their perks also not as good as the other hotels. Therefore I gotta say bye bye to them.

This is very useful information on wedding show. Couple of months ago, I arranged a bridal show by booking one of grand LA venues. Decorated venue with amazing decorative ideas which I got to know from internet and got good response.
